PRIVACY POLICY

Thank you for visiting our website.

The Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and Philly Fringe (PLA/PF) respects your privacy.
The below privacy policy tells you how we use personal information collected via this website, at events, and at the time of ticket purchases or donations. This policy may be changed or amended. All changes will be posted on this webpage as they occur. We encourage you to review this privacy policy periodically to make sure you understand how personal information you provide is being used.

Note: The privacy practices stated here apply to the PLA/PF only. These practices do not apply to single artists or other artistic companies/organizations engaged with PLA/PF. This website may contain links to third party websites. PLA/PF is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these websites. You may contact those other parties to learn about their privacy policies.

Collection of Information
People choose to interact with PLA/PF in different ways that require us to gather personal information, and we want to know who our patrons are so that we can better serve this community. The amount and type of information gathered depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, on our homepage a visitor may sign up for our email list by simply entering their email address. Those who engage in transactions – such as, purchasing tickets, making a donation, or reserving a seat to a special event – are asked to provide additional information, including the necessary personal and financial information required for the transaction.

PLA/PF does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under the age of 13, we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

Use of Information
The personal information the PLA/PF collects allows us to keep you posted on what is happening in the Philadelphia artistic community and with PLA/PF. It also helps us to improve and deliver our services, content, and advertising to our patrons. If you do not want to be on our mailing list you can opt out anytime by contacting our Administrative Assistant at getinfo@livearts-fringe.org; you may also unsubscribe to our email list with the SafeUnsubscribe link at the bottom of any received email. We may also use personal information for internal purposes such as auditing, data analysis, and research to improve our programs.

Financial information from transactions, such as credit card information, is visible to an authorized PLA/PF employee only for entry purposes. Payments are processed through a secure server; following a payment, only the amount of the transaction along with the last four identifying digits are visible by select authorized employees.

Distribution/Sharing of Information
The PLA/PF operates as a member of the PhillyTheatreTix Consortium, managed by the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia and it is composed of ten local non-profit arts and cultural organizations. To see a list of consortium members, please visit the Theatre Alliance of Greater Philadelphia’s website, http://www.theatrealliance.org/ticket-consortium. PhillyTheatreTix allows each of the participating organizations to use a highly advanced and secure server and database system, Tessitura, to conduct business at an affordable cost. Names and mailing addresses of PLA/PF patrons are visible by other consortium members, but all other personal information gathered by PLA/PF is kept confidential. If you do not wish to receive information from other consortium members you must contact those organizations directly.

We want you to be informed and stay up to date on what is happening in the local artistic community. Because of this, the PLA/PF does trade lists of names and postal addresses of PLA/PF patrons with other local performing arts organizations. Phone numbers and any other personal information gathered by PLA/PF is kept confidential. If you do not wish to have your name and address traded with other local arts organizations please contact us at getinfo@livearts.org.

Cookie/Tracking Technology
Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser types and operating systems used to access our site, tracking the number of visitors to our website, and understanding how our visitors use our website. The information collected allows us to improve our web practices based on the needs of our visitors. Personal information cannot be collected via cookies and other tracking technology. Aggregate cookie and tracking information may be shared with third parties.

Confidentiality and Security
The PLA/PF limits access to personal information about our patrons to employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs. We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you.
