Philadelphia's premiere hot core outfit brings a near-sickening euphoria to the pop/rock arena, being something like the party band at the wedding of glam-punk and witchcraft. "We'll play our industrial dance-rock toward dark, dark themes and the creaming of jeans, fucked-up cathartic pop for the new century for as long as they let us, so bring your pretty party dress and your detachable breasts, lover."

Throughout the evening
Casting a gimlet eye on the audience through his trademark tinted aviator glasses and wearing a vintage polyester 52-portly suit, Murray can hurl a good-natured zinger and schmooze the dames with the best of 'em in his show, featuring neo-burlesque legend Dirty Martini. Described as "Benny Hill-meets-Carol Burnett" in Next Magazine and "one of New York City's most beloved institutions" in Time Out New York.

After last year's cabaret smash-hit The Singer-Songwriter Song, the time has come to Rage Against the Chemise. Anneliese Euler's underground superstar invention combines melodic acrobatics, social savvy, and searing deadpan wit. Look for racy songs about race and class, stormy songs about sturm und drang, and activist songs about food. Classic cabaret, completely reinvented for the post-Alanis Morissette set.

One man, four shoes, a radio, a PowerBook, a steering wheel - and an agenda. In a holistic integration of performance, music, and machine, Joshua Fried subverts bits of live FM radio into funky musical patterns in a real-time recontextualization of mass media. Fried is well-known as a re-mix producer for They Might Be Giants and others, and has been presented at the Bang On a Can Festival, Music Now Prague, and on NPR's New Sounds Live.

Karl Anderson and his company Slamfest present two works: a solo performance that questions our shared reality and assumptions of normalcy, and a duet in which a dancer and a musician explore a perverse fantasy-scape where private behaviors are presented in a public space.
"Powerfully theatrical..." "...engaging, funny, and terrifying..." -The Village Voice.
